My Home Page for the Summer's Family News!
What's up with Robin!?! This page is designed to keep in touch with our friends and
family. Kevin is still working full time and Robin is too!
It seems like the
best option at staying in touch with the people we love and
care the most about.

Robin graduates this month and that is all she can think about.

Robin is, however, still planning to continue her education at
PSU until she obtains her 4 year degree in June of 2001.

Cyndi, now 19, is married, and expecting her first child in
September.(And it's a GIRL!). We are looking forward to being
grandparents!
Our most current project is home
remodeling.
We enlarged the duck pen
in September 1998, and are planning to install a mid-sized
pond some time in the near future. We enjoy our two pet
ducks immensely. We hope to have pictures of
Drake and Molly soon.

Another ongoing project of ours is our geneaolgy research(this is the way my mom says to spell it?). We
are new at this but have been compiling as much of our
family history as we can. If you have any information about
any of the surnames that follow, please don't hesitate to
e-mail us. We'd be glad to share or collect any information
we can. Our surnames of interest are:
Summers (Kevin's surname, so he is a first generation)
Wilson (we have two lines of this one to follow, both 2nd generations)
Eatherton (Robin's maiden name, another first generation)
Scott (3rd generation)
Parkinson (4th generation)
Thompson (4th generation)
Blodgett (3rd generation)
Rainwater (not a direct line)
Huddleston
Carter (5th generation)
Harkness (5th generation)
LeGrand (5th genration)
Ritchie (not a direct line, but 2nd generation)
Haragan (maybe third generation)
Teters (4th generation)
Kever (5th generation)
I'm sure there are others and will post them as soon as I
learn of them! In the meantime any help you provide will
be greatly appreciated.

Kevin is currently employed with the Oregon
State Military Department. His first assignment was at Camp Withycombe; he is now at an airforce base in Salem; his next assignment will be in Monmouth, OR starting swing shift in July. Besides all this,
Kevin is also in the Oregon National Guards, where his
main interests are in Retention and Recruting,
he is also on the SMAT committee. Besides our pet ducks, we also
have a cat and a dog. We inhereted Symba the
cat quite accidently. We had been wanting a
cat to help control the mice problem we
encountered when we brought the ducks
home (their food attracts the critters). Symba was left here and actually
chose us for his permanant home. We are quite delighted with him.
Taz, our dog is actually Cyndi's pet, but she
lives in an apartment and can't take him home
with her yet. He is a sweet chow with
exceptional manners. Another delightful addition to our
family.
We hope to have pictures of our family
to post here soon.

Kevin's Korner!
Candi's Corner Candi, our sweet seventeen year old, is now going to be a senior in high school, and is doing well in school. We are so proud
of her. Her plans for the future incllude becoming a computer
technician, or perhaps a Beautician. See Candi's comments here
soon!
Candi also likes red roses and the word "LOVE".
She recently walked away from a potentially deadly wreck
when she rolled her first car in March of this year. We are
so lucky to still enjoy her persence. By the way, she is
looking for a new car, and the sooner the better (for
her, maybe not so much for us).
PS! One more thing, Candi got her braces off in May, however her knee has been giving her a lot of flack since her wreck and is going though physical therapy for that. She looks odd without her braces, imagine that!! She did look so cute in them!>
